Fair pay for labour is a fundamental human right, but none of the biggest fashion brands pay garment workers a wage they can live on. Parsons offers rigorous interdisciplinary programs across the spectrum of art and design, from fashion and technology to urban design, fine art, and management. Here, creators and scholars master established disciplines and develop emerging ones, fostering innovation that transforms business, advances sustainability, and enhances social impact and health. The story revolves around Meghna Mathur, an aspiring fashion model; it follows her transformation from small-town girl to supermodel, the Indian fashion industry and the careers of several other models.
